LAWRENCE ROOM

The Lawrence Room serves two purposes: an informal lunchtime restaurant and an Italian restaurant at the weekends.

Situated on the ground floor just off the courtyard, the Lawrence Room (named after Thomas Lawrence - see history) is an ideal choice for a quick lunch, seven days a week. Four or five fresh dishes are prepared each day and are available from the counter. In addition, a mouth watering selection of cold sweets and two hot puddings (such as bread and butter, treacle - in fact all the favourites).are available. Like all other produce served at the Bear, these dishes are home made by our team of skilled chefs.
